New Book!!! And other news.

Today I turn 26! It's an interesting time, as I reflect on the past year--we've seen a new President take up residence in the White House, resulting in protests--and changes in national rhetoric and policy that continue to befuddle me. Individuals from all over the world have banded together to denounce sexual harassment and assault. And we've witnessed the ironic uptick in national unity that has occurred as a result of less-than-savory events.

Additionally--on a personal note, my first full-length collection of poems, Driving Together, is forthcoming in 2018 from Meadowlark books!!! I'm super excited about the idea, so be sure to stay tuned here for more news!

Meadowlark Books is an excellent small press, having produced books by writers like Kansas Poets Laureate Kevin Rabas and Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg, among other excellent writers. I can't wait to work with them in this new "chapter" of my writing life.
